Became a moot point early on really.
We were playing alright until KDH went off. They scored almost immediately, then we were rubbish for a bit but ended the 2nd half really well, should have scored at least one and then they go and score right at the death.
Hugely frustrating. The game's over now really, but seeing how we've managed to play really well at times in that first half almost makes it worse - there was a result in this for us if we could have made the most of the opportunities we've had like they did
Offered them way too many counter attacks. Baffling tactics against a team who need counter attacks to be successful

I thought for sure we'd have been playing a low block for the first 45 minutes today, then going for it 2nd half.
Moyes is better when he is force to make changes...if he has options, he will always go for the safest unimaginative way possible. That's why he will never win anything big.
Well people can't say moyes was too defensive because he was too attacking IMO. Just got it wrong today it happens
OK.. say we started Charly. Kdh got injured at 0.0. Who would have came on. What would have changed ?

Lot of ifs and maybes. We lack quality depth I admit
Biggest issues have been terrible full back play and offering counter attacks. Very un Moyes like things but basics you can't afford to miss away from home.

The KDH injury obviously changed the way the game would be played (not that I agree with him in the 10), but that first goal was WAY too easy. Cannot happen. Our fullbacks are destroying us this game. I was hoping for KDH deeper with Garner at RB. All moot anyway because KDH had the gum strings today (get well soon brother). Clear targets for the window at fullback. If you can get some sales, maybe a striker.
