Lot of comments calling Moyes a coward and saying bad management while we’re two points off the champions league places after 15 played with a team that is absolutely nowhere near that level and easily worse than Spurs, Newcastle, Liverpool and probably others like Brighton who are all below us in the league.

I question whether Moyes is the man to take us on to actually win something after we make more investment but I’m not having that he’s not done a very good job so far this season and a cautious set up away at a ground we’ve not won since 1994 is not going to change that for me.

He either gets a result today or rightly is called out for this.

He’s not going to be here after this game, so what from perhaps saving the condition of other players, there’s no logic to it. Even if he has a brilliant game there’ll be no continuity for the next game. Alcaraz KDH and Garner should have been allowed to forge partnerships in that midfield over a few games.
And they will. I believe this is Moyes telling Gueye, "You now have something to prove. So prove it."

I think he’s two yellows from a suspension with four games before reset. After today that’s three. Kind of makes sense given how light we are in midfield after today
On the other hand Alcaraz has hardly played and has had little opportunity to gel with the rest of the team and it would be advantageous to address that before we lose other players to a tourney.

Absolute revert to type classic Moyes,I'll hold my hands up and praise him if this comes off in a win today but not counting on it,he has done this sort of thing regularly over the years🙄

Go get ‘em Gana lad

So much fluidity through the midfield last week , with Alcarez at 10.
Disappointed but not surprised.
Probably thinks its the last time Gana and Ndiaye, will play for a couple of weeks and will need the others , in their absence.
