Mad as it seems, still see the Chiefs getting in as the 7th seed in the playoffs by winning out.

Chargers just have too many tricky games coming up.

You're road games are pretty straightforward, don't see any dramas there and Denver and the Chargers at Arrowhead.

It's a slim chance but I'm not going to be surprised if you're still there on the 10th Jan.

Yeah its still possible for them to win out, but with two 1st string OL out (I dunno how long for) it'll be tricky. Can see the Broncos taking the game to them at Arrowhead similar to what the Texans just did.

Meanwhile, in Duval...

It seems the collapse at the end of the Texans game marked a turning point of some kind. The town just basically quit on them in disgust. We have.

Since, they are unbeaten. 'Head and Shoulders' has managed to either eke out a win or not generate a crooked number of turnovers in interesting ways, as he was prone to do before. Without the gob stopping turnovers, he's actually ok and can make some impressive plays like he did in college.

Mainly, the defense is stopping the run and turning the ball back over to us at an impressive rate. Devon Lloyd has finally grown into his contract and learned how to play at this speed, and most impressive, other than a visit to Denver for a likely butt kicking, they could kind of win out with the schedule I look at. (I know, I know) But they could.

Best of all, no one is paying attention. It's like we're not even here. Perfect.

Sadly, I think that Philly's season is done after last night. That is an offense on life support for various reasons and it won't be getting fixed any time soon.

They'll make the playoffs, but chances are they'll be vacating at the Wild Card round based on this form. Just not been a great defense of their title at all.

Also just on Hurts - obviously last night won't have done anything to qwell the weird slander that he receives on the regular, but for me he's still a great QB going through a bit of a sticky patch. Could say the same for a number of other notable QB's this year....
