It's still a disincentive.It's just £20 for a junior membership

STH's who can't easily pass their season ticket onto family members is probably a drop in the ocean for the reasons for all those empty seats anyway, doubt it'd make much difference. It's still a disincentive.
It doesn’t have to be just one or the other. The empty seats should be a significant concern.
It's still a disincentive.
YesDo they just count ticket sales as opposed to bums on seats?
In past you could just pass a ticket on for free. Issue is empty seats, membership is just a way to get extra money out of fans. Supposedly current system has been brought in to stop touting, while club sell tickets to away fans on seat unique. Its really not. Its the natural course of events in moving stadiums.
World's gone mad. £20 is nothing these days in terms of most people's throwaway spend. If it's really a disincentive then they are not busting a gut to want to go.
Members SHOULD come first. ( Obly £35 adult and £20 junior to get you a m'ship ) Won't be long, maybe end of season when the club catches up to the likes of Man Utd where REALLY strict rules govern ST's and ticket transfers. While happy with our players and managers, still not happy with people running our club. I'd guess a lot of empty seats are to do with fans, not being able to pass on tickets to family members, unless they're a member.

If you get club view, go in via gate 15 which gets you a lift to the concourse. Still a climb once on terrace depending on row, but then that’s the same all overAnyone have any experience with the premium seating, either the seats in the North Stand Block 229 or the Club View tickets? Looking to take my Dad who is in his late 70s and just want to know that it's worth it and accessibility isn't a problem.
Obviously they're expensive as hell but they're available and the Forever Blue membership sounds a bit of lottery for what is realistically 1 game a season.
Video from that West Ham fan that snuck in at the end of last season's derby. Really captures the special atmosphere coming out of the ground yesterday.
Yup.If they put them on general sale they'd be gone in a heartbeat. The problem isn't a lack of demand, the problem is only selling to a limited market of members to maximise income.
Lots and lots of empty seats today despite an alleged 52,500 attendance
