New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Video from that West Ham fan that snuck in at the end of last season's derby. Really captures the special atmosphere coming out of the ground yesterday.

It was fantastic last night coming out of the ground, even after staying in for an hour to have a pint.

Goodison will always have a special place in my heart (it's my first love), yet I am really, really enjoying our time at BMD.

Tight in the concourse area at HT.
It depends on where you stand. From the bits of that video I did watch, it looked as if they were in/near the north stand, which is tighter.

Where we are in the upper south, it's usually fine as long as you don't stand in the pinch points where the wings meet the bar.

Each game, we're up against the glass and it's comfortable enough.

Do you reckon there is scope to expand the concourses? I know settling in and crowd management etc, for the size of it, a bit more elbow room makes all the difference.

Not unless the footprint of the land is increased, namely from United Utilities, because it is quite tight as it is at the back underneath the stand.

There's a lot of room near the wings if people are open to moving a few steps away from their section.

Could those wings be made 'more' available? To more naturally be areas fans want to spend HT in?

They are fully available as they are now, although the club could potentially spend some time making people more conscious of their benefits.

I think people naturally congregate near to their section (coming down the steps and straight to the bar), rather than spending time to move into space.

We either stand in the wing between the south and west or between the two bars in the south; it takes a minute or two getting there, but it's worth it.

If they put them on general sale they'd be gone in a heartbeat. The problem isn't a lack of demand, the problem is only selling to a limited market of members to maximise income.
While happy with our players and managers, still not happy with people running our club. I'd guess a lot of empty seats are to do with fans, not being able to pass on tickets to family members, unless they're a member.

Yesterday was the first time I've ever stayed in a stadium after a game to have a beer. We had time til our train and so it was a good way to kill some time, enjoy the mood and then walk out without having to do the soft shoe shuffle.

Facilities etc are top imo.

It's only £35 for a Forever Blue membership, if the STH passes on the ST for free or even at the discounted ST rate (about £38 a game) then the family member is still gonna get a good deal if they go to more than one game when the ST is spare.
