2025/26 Dwight McNeil

Is he any worse at defending now than Coleman was in 2012 when Moyes made him our right back?

Think him overlapping to Grealish's left would take our build up to another level
A player at left back wearing number 7 would set my ocd off the stratosphere. There are probably better reasons why this is a bad idea also.

….he’s languid, a bit like Dibling. It’ll often disguise a lack of effort but it doesn’t mean they’re not trying. Indeed, a few posters on here commented that he was trying too hard.

Not sure if you watched him for U21s, certainly couldn’t say he was sulking or not trying.

His performances have been poor this season but I wouldn’t blame his attitude.
Obsessed.

….i don’t think Dibling is obsessed, just seems a quiet type of lad.
It’s quite obvious that you are obsessed, you are displaying exactly the sort of unhealthy infatuation you had for Kevin Thelwell for Tyler, weaving him in to other threads now as well.
How about you prove me wrong and try your hardest not to mention or refer to Tyler Dibling until the Chelsea game, as you’re a betting man I bet £5 to a charity of your choice that you can’t. I’ll even ask big fat Mick Quinn for some tips for you the next time I see his massive face in Waitrose.

After the points deduction he was immense, important goals and assists, the one at Forest comes to mind, then came the injury and personal problems and has never got back to that level, did ok for a few games towards end of last season, again Forest away comes to mind.
We have evolved as a team in that space of time, better players and seemingly no real place for an attrition footballer like Dwight going forward. Will always appreciate what he contributed during some dark times.....

Well he should be going somewhere soon, because if we let another player walk for free, that will be a disgrace
I'm not up on AFCON dates and related team permutations, but we will be 2 midfielders out and if McNeil is still needed for cover and the window closes he can't go anywhere.

End of the season is a different matter.

You mean the quick, aggressive, determined Irish lad? Yes.
