If we want to push on and aim for top half we need 2 new starters. RB and Striker. A bit more depth wouldnt go astray either. The striker will most likely have to be a loan as I doubt we can afford a proven striker so that will be difficult. Unless an Italian team comes in for Beto. Thierno is 23 so he's not a kid, I'm tired of the development excuses, we've heard them all before, he needs to start scoring before he becomes a DCL mark 2, good option to punt the ball up to but f all else. People say he isnt getting the opportunities, who's fault is that? A large part of it for me is that he isnt getting into the right positions, not willing to write him off yet but time is running out....
RB is a must and we should be able to buy one, big Jake at CB makes Tarky and Micko better. We dont have enough depth in MF to convert Garner although maybe thats an option instead of RB until the summer. January will be interesting and I expect plenty of FUME on here...

Im still massively unsure on what type of midfielder he is. He’s hardly the destroyer/anchor that we need more. He reminds me more of a KDH midfielder, number 8 who makes tackles but drives the ball up.

We already have KDH, and I wouldn’t want Mainoo over him.

I’d swerve, personally. Just don’t think he’s the right fit for us but am sure he’ll succeed, he’s a tidy player if played right.

We need a left back just as much as a right back imo. Missed opportunity having a player like Grealish and having someone so
Limited like Myko behind him. Obviously that will have to wait till the summer.

2 quality full backs, a big powerful number 6

It'll cost a bit with the wages. As I said we're well stocked in centre midfield and I'd rather recall Armstrong if we needed an extra player in that position

Nothing has changed since the summer

We need a rb, a lb, a striker and a midfielder who is actually available.

And if we don't get any of them in Jan, thats what we'll need again in the summer on top of some width with pace.
