What a whirlwind it's been since you posted thisYeah, I know we haven't played Newcastle yet and there's Bournemouth in between, but this is the one. The grudge match.
No one cares about Bournemouth, the Tory graveyard that birthed the saviour of the Geordies known as Eddie Howe.
Notts Forrest. Not liked in these parts due to their moaning and carping about points deductions and being part of a collective who chuntered about suing us. Then got busted themselves.
Chuck in that they are managed by everyone's favourite former ex manager, who despite playing a huge role in keeping us up (like it or not), is remembered barely better than Benitez by some Blues. He'll no doubt relish putting one over on us.
So, what's it going to be? Dyche anti-footballing us into submission on the transition, or a Moyes masterclass? Our players not slapping each other would be preferable as well.
Throwing in Patterson against Forest, who have serious pace on their wings would be a mitigated disaster. Is it worth giving Patterson one last shot at RB? Think Garner has to move into the middle with Tim gone, unless McNeil is ripping it up through the middle at training. The calls for Beto and Barry to start up front aint going to happen and is a terrible idea, 1 bad striker is bad enough, 2 of them is not beto
its worse and we would get killed in MF.
I hope he keeps O'Brien at CB but if Keane is fit we know what will happen and he'll be back at RB. Still think we can win this one and fingers crossed a goal for one or both of our strikers.
I know but the same could have been said of Keane before his revitalisation under Moyes. Maybe its wishful thinking but I'm a sucker for a fairytale endingThrowing in Patterson against Forest, who have serious pace on their wings would be a mitigated disaster.
I personally think he's finished as far as a career in the Premier League is concerned.
I like it. I might do a preview 4 matches in advance, fun to see what sort of mood we have between and going into the game. What a whirlwind it's been since you posted this![]()
I think Travers or King would be better at RB than PattersonTimmy's suspension makes things a little tricky in midfield. If Keane is back I guess he goes straight to CB so JoB goes to RB so Garner can go back into midfield. If Keane can't then I guess we can play this with Patto going back in. I know, madness.
