Said ages ago, they should install a urinal all along the South Upper concourse window.
Would be a great feature looking out on to the city.
Could also go down as another Everton record, I’d guess it would be the longest urinal in world football.

Why do people moan about queuing for a pint? It's unrealistic to expect to get a pint at HT and drink it in 15 mins or even 30 mins.

because if youre moving from your old traditional worn down home to a brand new blockbuster stadium with all the modern comforts the least you expect is to get served quicker

if we’re gonna lose the character of goodison and its surroundings you at least want the comfort and convenience of th e modern

in some places it takes even longer to get served and longer to have a piss, it is remarkable

I can't remember the numbers, but Spurs have that "Bottoms Up" beer dispensing system. The beer cup is basically sealed using a piece of metal with a magnet that clips into place at the bottom of the glass (which has metal around the hole). These pieces of metal can be keepsakes (e.g. sponsors, or other guff) and cost buttons when bought at volume. I assume the plastic cups are re-useable.

According to AI (disclaimer) - the Spurs stadium can dispense 10,000 pints per minute at capacity.
They sell around 65k pints per match.
Revenue from beer is around £330k per match.

Knowing our fanbase, we could and should be doing better than we are - but as mentioned the bogs are under-capacity. Perhaps they could install pissoirs around the bar area.

I just mean with all the discussions on how much beer, ques etc at the stadium there could be a Wikipedia page for Evertonians giving their expertise on beer & how to improve service.

Went back to Goodison to watch the under 21 s tonight. Was feeling nostalgic and really looking forward to it.
What it has done is reminded me of how everything is so much better now.
Thanks Goodison, I have loved my times there over the last 50 odd years, but the HD just smashes it it out of the park. Far, far better in every way.
Couldn't get over how tiny the Gwladys St end looks in comparison to the South stand.
Great Goodison memories, but HD is the future and I love it.

Couldn't get over how tiny the Gwladys St end looks in comparison to the South stand.

"Better in every way" except the transport and queues for the bogs . Waltzed right up to GP last night using public transport. My mate parked right on top of the ground last minute too. Afterwards, left and got home to South Liverpool, no bother at all.... even despite 60k over the other side of the park (albeit with staggered KO times). It was effortless by comparison. Hopefully that will come at HD with some new infrastructure in the coming yrs. Preferably, before the novelty wears off!

Tbh, I don't really see the point in comparing an old stadium that was largely designed a century ago in the era of traditional terraces etc (with little or nothing spent on it in the past 50+yrsl), with one that apparently cost the best part of a £billion. Even the Kop at Prenton Park "looks" bigger than the Gwladys St... (it isn't, but that's what happens when you increase the rake of a stand). Unfortunately, the South stand is only a few rows larger than the old Gwladys St, which was never regarded as a particularly large home-end in anycase. That said, it held almost 20k in total in the days of standing and was far more raucous than anything I've seen so far at HD.... even without a full roof. Again, hopefully that's something that will develop over time.

Watching their game last night, I couldn't help thinking that Arsenal really get great coverage of their stadium.

It's a pity we still have our stadium being projected as Uttoxeter Leisure Centre's swimming pool instead of it against the backdrop of our city skyline.

Difference is Tom there are over 52 thousand at one venue and how many was at the under 21's last night ?
