Individually Michael Keane has been decent this season, but as has been proven so many times over the last nine years his erratic presence freaks our whole defence out as makes us vulnerable. O’Brien was excellent tonight and made Tarkowski and Mykolenko seem more settled as well.

Balance was somehow better across the pitch tbh. Garner at right back is the best option in that position for now. Same with KDH deeper and Alcaraz ahead of him.

One thing that is true of this team is it has got a bit of heart about it. Bad games haven’t turned into spirals like they have in recent seasons. Credit to the manager in that regard, and players like Grealish and KDH who have improved standards across the board.

Moyes often performs when there's no expectation. Reminds me of beating City in 2013, after losing to Wigan at home. Getting draw at Chelsea after losing 4-1 to West Brom. One thing about Moyes is when we have backs to wall, he gets results, it's when we have to take it to teams it goes wrong.

Yep. Have little faith we'll back this up on Saturday. But, deserves credit for 3 wins and clean sheets in 4.

Shame there was one of our worst performances in years in the middle. As mentioned earlier, we are a bit bewildering.

That's just not true. We lose game because teams with the sorts of players we have had don't win every game. It's nothing to do you with Moyes. That's all a childish myth.

Personally I disagree sometimes Moyes went to Chelsea, Arsenal or even Man United and we ended up getting something when nobody expected us to. Man City away in 2010 before Christmas comes to mind. Chelsea 2007 and Arsenal 2010 games come to mind. One thing about Moyes is that he came, give players kick up backside and we come out all guns blazing after a poor performance. Martinez didn't have that ability, we'd have decent runs, we'd go on losing streaks nothing inbetween. A good thing about Martinez is he'd go into every game with same mentality. Martinezs weakness was he'd go into every game with same mentality. We played better with 10 men at Old Trafford, because there was no expectation we would win. I'm convinced if Gana Gueye hadn't been sent off we wouldn't have won
