2025/26 David Moyes

Wait, what, Roman Dixon isn’t a premier league starting right back? Since when did that happen, apparently it was a sackable offence not playing him 18 months ago.

All them favourites Dyche kept playing. I'd often joke that the only change people could see is Patterson or Dixon

Now it's "to be fair, the squad is light"

It still is, and it's a valid point especially compared to most of the league, why teams like Everton voted for more subs is beyond me - but we've got more options now than the last few years, but we need more.

We've got £50m+ worth of summer signings on the bench, and more £££ not in the squad.

Haha those idiots!

No one's ever argued against the squad being light - Dyche picked things that didn't work and kept picking them, not giving any option a chance, which was always the criticism, and there's no need to move this specific goalpost for some reason.

Im not a fan of hers but credit to her for at least asking something that isn’t in the comfort zone unlike a lot of others.
TBF, she usually does push it a bit more, which is amazing seeing as she also does stadium work and is beholden to the club for that. Bit more bite than Vinny O'Connor, who has his tongue firmly up Moyes's arse.

Having been rounded on by Moyes though it'll be interesting if she keeps asking moderately critical questions.

Which is a current, valid criticism as well.

He’s really starting to get on my wick.

Playing lads with knocks now, instead of resting them and utilising the squad!

No wonder we looked goosed from minute one kick off, it wasn’t just the 10-man effort at OT, he’s picking players with injuries. Farce.
No options.

Well you spent £110M mate.

Put a black and white scarf on this tit and drive him up to the Toon.

@davek considering we were nowhere near relegation at the midway point of last season, why were you so worried to the point of wanting Gareth Southgate to rescue us from it?

Plenty did mate, hence the jokes about Dixon and Patterson. Our squad/bench was often so incredibly poor, we had nothing.

Coincidentally, watched Forest yesterday, they made 2 subs at half time. Dont think he ever did that at us.

Moyes has the same problem now compared to other teams - but nowhere near as bad as it was - because we spent a club record amount in the summer. Half of them are sat on the bench.

He'd make a superbly slippy politician tbf 😆
