There’s a very good chance I will be getting one of these mate after yesterday.

Be interesting if I do, because I know for a fact I never said anything more nasty than an f-bomb or two, a smattering of ffs, quite a few sh**es and more than a few bloody hells & Jesus christs. No steward or other supporter approached me to ask me to stop or remove me from the stadium either.

Categorically no racial or homophobic slurs from myself, nor did I hear any of that around me.

Ditto mate. My worst was a TV signal and two fingered salute to Pawson, although quite a few FFS etc.

I may be an old git, but I have no truck with racism or homophobia.

I’m an old git as well mate.

I would challenge any rascism, homophobia or anything else that I think crosses the line if I heard it near me, and have done at Goodison a few times over the years.

I’ve not heard anything like that at BMD, but seen these bloody yellow cards on seats around us on two seperate occasions now, it’s ridiculous.

I honestly couldn't watch us and not swear mate, i just couldn't, doesn't matter if we were 4-0 up, even in the match threads here, the mods have had to sort me out on occasion. Just get so involved.

Bear in mind, this isn't a football stadium it's a commercial facility that regularly hosts football.

Those standards will overlay everything: the standards you get at going to a theatre or the cinema or a musical event.

Everton fans will adapt to that new regime or they wont be able to attend if they transgress on a regular basis. The stadium management company wont allow other patrons to be inconvenienced.

That's the attitude that our supporters now face.

That wont end well, and it goes to what I've been saying for a while now: a deferred conflict between two cultures: football fan (particularly Everton football fan) culture and commercial entertainment culture. They cant co-exist. Not ever.

What even is this thing? If I made 100 grand a week for kicking a ball I woulnd't mind those words directed at me (as long as it isn't extreme of course - anything racist/family abuse/ homophobic).

Ridiculous..

At this point, anyone who can muster up the enthusiasm or energy to swear needs rewarding not warning. Should get a round of applause and be carried shoulder high to their transport for the return journey home at full time.

Was anyone even moderately surprised at last night. We all know as night follows day that a memorable performance will be followed by an absolute car crash. Seen it all before and we should all be numb to it by now.

Nothing more than a smirk, a snort or an eye roll. Anything else is a waste of effort.

I got a resale, nice seat, lower east, half way line. On arrival some women next to me asked where so n so was who usually sits there. Informed her i usually go in lower south, but this was best resale available. You should have seen the distain in her face. She then informed me. "we do not stand up here, shout abuse at players or swear either" i just thanked her for her input and told her she was in for a nice surprise. Class snobery in the bramley moor 🤣🤣🤣

Knew there would be Karen’s giving it out, but feck me this is a joke. Hope you improved her grasp of some colourful curse words brother.
