New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

the stadium was stunning tonight. Just a shame about what was happening on the pitch.
I was telling my lad, today about the mid 80's glory years & how I was just plonked on a cold metal (goal post type shape) bars in the Gwladys street end (when it was standing)

My legs had pins & needles, my Dad & uncle were probably drunk!!
...However the buzz of being hoisted up in the air when we scored & limbs everywhere, definitely got me addicted!!
...And it is now the drug both me and my Son crave for 💙

We now have the stadium & i just wish we had the team to match, as I'd love it if my son could witness us being successful, just like I did 💙

Maybe the stadium and investment will change things and dreams will come true small steps first season in our boss stadium

Where’s all the self pour beer machines gone from the plaza? Couldn’t see any of them. (My last game was the palace game).

The one near our sets in the east stand selling Guinness only had 1 working apparently so the queue was just taking ages.

I know it’s been discussed over and over again, just seen the plans for Birmingham City’s 62k new stadium. Not a fan of the chimneys but you’ve got to admire their ambition to build a stadium of that stature. Yet our owners at the time settled on 52k.
Excellent point.

I love our new home, but I do wonder if there is scope to expand? Can you imagine what it would be like if we ended up in the top 4? It's already not easy to get tickets

Geordies in the exec boxes behind the family stand tonight block 127, standing there drinking out of wine glasses - which they decanted into coffee cups when challenged - wildly celebrating their goals and causing murder with fans, all of which had kids with them. Stewards stood there watching. Modern football in the hospitality age. Sickening really.
You couldn't make this up!

So fellow Evertonians go to watch Everton play and get upset at Evertonians swearing at the likes of Craig Pawson and make complaints to the club? Get to f###, you absolute s###houses.
Precisely my point. The sanitising of the audience has done it for me. I dislike the current vibe whereby you are looked at as if you are a child molester just for venting your fury. I dont enjoy it at all.
I knew I should have ended my matchgoing back in May. Its not for me im afraid.
