2025/26 David Moyes

When were these games where Tim played well? Were they games we were already winning?

Alcaraz is twice the player Iroegbunam is. Iroegbunam is not a player with any sort of quality at all, he's a player we got on a FFP fiddle.
Tim showed exactly why he doesn’t start games and is an impact sub. i like him and he has plenty to offer and lots of potential, but he isn’t ready to start games.

I expect a tough day down at Bourenmouth, but this feller better have them right up for the Forest game.

We've put in 2 horror show home performances out of the last three and we cant be seeing fans walking out from the 55th minute or so too often. Conceded 7 and scored 3 in the last three at home.

Get this new stadium form back to being solid. It's in danger of turning on us.

Yes, he'll defo switch again and make it look like he's proactive.

But he cant build and coach a passing team.

It's clear that's the way the owners want to go though, so if we dont get top ten they have a decision to make in May.
We aren’t getting top ten unless there are at least three first team starters signed in January, so the decision maybe made earlier

A trip to Bournemouth, games against the Champions elect and a confident Chelsea and a visit from a certain gravel voice individual in the run upto Christmas.

Not ideal
I honestly dont see us getting any wins until Burnley...maybe a lucky draw somewhere but thats about it. Not good enough.

Probably a couple of draws at best but Bournemouth are shipping loads of goals currently so expecting a bit better than the dismal effort from Dyche's final game.

The period of the season not to mess up is the four game spell that has Burnley away and Brentford and Wolves at home in it. Those games will be without at least Gana and Ndiaye so not certain draws and wins.

Take the plaudits for the highs.
Take the critique for the lows.

Today was a low. STOP PLAYING DEWSBURY-HALL AS THE AM!

He is to vital deeper working with Gana or Garner and linking up with Grealish and being part of the blanket of cover for the defence.
Using him further forward leaves us sharply worse off at the back. His quality is essential doing some of the less hollywood work further back, because there's no one else that can provide it. There are, Alcaraz, Dibling, McNeil to give a try to in the AM slot. And Tim Iroegbunam has to stop starting, he's an impact sub later on at best.

Failure to heed these simple and obvious lessons will see pressure upped and the exit sooner. Learn man learn, whilst you still can LEARN!

I dont see him lasting that long...he is in big trouble with coming fixtures, no ndiaye or gueye for the best part of a month, injuries to key players (Branthwaite). The question is if we were to drop in the relegation places, would TFG need to act? Is he the long term answer, I dont think so.

For me, if we were in a situation where I could see a clear plan and clear improvements I wouldn’t mind.

Problem is everything feels so stopgap and inconsistent with little clear plan or playstyle other than hoping N’Diaye or Grealish do something and relying on a core group of players who have proven to be unreliable and capable of a stinker.

Players invited it on, starting so slow. It is the managers job to ensure that doesn’t happen.

Both manager and players are culpable.

Moyes isn’t blessed with options of the bench, but would definitely like to see fringe players given a go, even if Aznou & Dibbling got 10 minutes here and there the fan base could draw assessment to weather they are good enough or not yet.

Charlie should have played a much greater role, he showed last season he was good enough. I won’t understand why he isn’t selected more.

Top ten is about minimum for people backing this club financially.

I said loads of time I'd hold my nose and accept Moyes staying if he can get that low hanging fruit. If not...

Whilst I agree, KDH needs to be deeper. But he has scored 2 in 2, and both excellent goals.
