New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Ah right. Sorry.

Good of Chris Beesley to NOT source who told him that.

It sounds like a crock of 💩 to me.

Gigs with major international stars will trump any impact financially per capita I would suspect. If the sports get more revenue it's solely down to the full 53k capacity being used as opposed to 40K for a concert.

And the publicity for the club would be off the charts globally if we could get a Springsteen etc playing in it every summer.

No, this is just an excuse for a club and council that cant feasibly get those sort of concert crowds down there because of the terrible transport the stadium suffers with.

For instance, recent Rugby league, the respective governing bodies will pay the international players and have their own sponsors etc. (There will be a % of the gate due for the privilege of hosting, but the ground owners get the $$ on the concessions and merch)
When Taylor Swift rolls into town, she gets a bigger % of the gate. It's also her merch (official).

Depending on how the stage is set, will impact the footprint for punters at a gig. I'd have thought Meis would have this aspect covered with an obvious end for respective delivery for a show able to be broken down and built up to accommodate who or whatever.
Filling 3 sides on the ground and then the pitch will mean thousands of people, it'll have been calculated already for insurance purposes.
I expect seat unique and club Everton will have some corporate packages available with top catering and champagne on ice, the works.

Shame the club doesn't own and operate a nearby multistory carpark. And a top flight hotel to go with.

Why can't we do both?

As long as it makes money then we should be all over it. And the added bonus of taking money away from other establishments is a bonus.
Beesley's just another brown nosing Echo hack there to say what the club wants him to say.

It's pretty obvious reading between the lines that those running the stadium as a commercial concern thought they had a few acts pencilled in for next summer but haven't been able to get the deals over the line, so now we're told by them via the Echo puppet that it's sporting events that are the best option anyway.

All these little plots and schemes are only actually happening in your head yenno. You really need to start getting out more.
You've become an actual parody now.
This constant negativity can't be doing your long term mental health any good.

50,000 rugby league fans are going drink a lot more than 30,000 teenage Taylor Swift fans and the accompanying adults which will make a impact on revenue.

Didn’t the rugby league fans drink the stadium dry?
