Watches

Just read about Sher Watches in CW's magazine

British watchmaker that's set up to make an affordable timepiece for kids that's designed to make it easier for them to learn how to tell analogue time. 95 quid seems a really good price to me.

@verreauxi

Looks like Seiya's back in business but just for parts, unless he's getting back in the swing of things. No idea WTF happened as the site was down for over a year and he didn't message back when I DM'd him on IG; at least he appears to be alive. Shame if Seiko strongarmed him. Might try the IG thing again.

Good to hear. He was a top fellow so I hope he is able to continue his business.

Seen a lot of advertisements for Alexander Lige watches, they look stunning to be fair and they were offering a two for one deal on some of them, but I must admit to having never heard of of them before, are they any good ? Not that I intend buying one, I’m just interested.

Just checked and they can’t be that good as they’re only £80 a piece , still look nice though

This is one of these companies who's photos are doctored to make the watches look quite nice, but they are trash watches and likely not even stainless steel as claimed. The reviews on their site are quite different then those on Trustpilot. Their site also seems largely AI generated.
