Absolutely thrilled with the win and a most welcome 3 points, especially given the circumstances at a ground we've historically been bad at - but United were just atrocious last night really weren't they? 💀

Everyone in that team plus the manager deserves the high praise they are getting for an all round team effort that made United’s eleven look very poor to Everton’s ten men and that 1-0 win didn’t emphasise how big and deserved it was, James Garner gave a performance that showed what a player he is and I hope the club get his name on a new contract as soon as possible.

Good angle of the incident (before it’s pulled)

Back in the days when you could talk to Referees...and Referees could talk to Players and Managers 'The Incident' would've resulted in a severe bollocking for both players and worse case, if one (like Gana was, at the time, un-calmdown-able - as happens sometimes) the Reff says to the Coach...take him off before I send him off - seen it happen on a number of occasions.

Both players then got angry with themselves AND each other...because they were embarrassed for making the initial 2 mistakes which nearly resulted in a goal.

Gana; for playing a too cute, too clever by half, 4yd give and go

Keane; for being mentally half asleep and not seeing it...any one of 4 or 5 other players would've just knocked it behind the United player (Fernandes??) and Gana's galloping off down the wing

I had to rely on online updates to keep up.

I'll admit to being one of the Moyes' doubters and thought we had about 5% chance of winning last night. Even then it was maybe with them down to 10 and certainly not us!

I expected somewhat of a capitulation in the 2nd half which never came.

Certainly credit to Moyes and all of the team. It's a seminal result for him but also one that's been gained by several clubs that we don't regard as peers.

With 10 men though they should all be very happy with a great night's work.

Pressure should always be on - and the onus is on them now to deliver on Saturday and really drive the momentum and push us up the table.

I'm not concerned about the Gueye/Keane incident. Gueye was out of order but it shows a desire to hold others to account even if it was very poorly expressed.

They were atrocious because we made them so. We actually outplayed them. It was not just a backs-to-the-wall, "plucky underdogs" thing at all. Moyes got his team and subs bang on.

Idk what the difference was. But that was the first time for a long time (Possibly ever?) that I watched the team and was confident with what was going to happen. I didn't feel any anxiety, even though logically I should have.
