2025/26 Everton Women - Super League & Cup Games

Ferguson is tempting but hard to see him as a long term solution. Phil Neville I thought was uninspiring when he managed England. Trying to think if there’s anyone in women’s game. Hayes hasn’t managed a mid table or struggling team before and wouldn’t come. Izzy Christiansen I think is coaching somewhere but very inexperienced. Looking at fixture list now they could end up bottom. Most of the away fixtures we could have taken points from have been and gone now. Three weeks before next league game though.
 

In some ways quite a big game today. Okay, it's in a dead rubber in the smaller of the two cups. But given our dreadful start to the season, any win would be a boost. By a few goals, even better. Might give the girls a bit of boost before the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal.

Does anyone think Brian might get the push if we lose today? Or maybe give him till a least New Year?

Looks like he's under no pressure at all. Then again the Friedkins never communicate with the fans do they? Don't think I've heard their thoughts on any of our teams since buying us so it's all a big mystery about how they view the progress of our sides

He isnt and was not last week, but they were not happy last week

I expect us to lose the next 3 WSL Games, and maybe be bottom in Jan depending how the other 2 below us do between now and then. He already has players lined up to come in

I remember you said in a previous post that Liverpool could invest more heavily in January so they will probably move above us.
What sort of players do youthink we'll look to get in? Can we get players who'll push us up the table?
Maybe I'm being a bit naive, but I feel there is some talent in our squad but something isn't quite right. Obviously nothing to threaten the top 4, but we shouldn't be a team worried about relegation.

We have a very talented squad. Players we signed in the summer were top class, but have not been used right and basically played were ever they could be. Martina was our best defender last year but has nearly all the time been played RB. A Right back is who we are bringing in for one player. In terms of will it move us up,time will tell etc as better players wont always mean better results as depends how they are used
 

Still frustrated by that Man City performance. Could have won it against a top team. How can Everton play so well there then capitulate against the worst team in the WSL? There are some good players in our squadon but results suggest otherwise.

All i will say is i have 5 Sources who i find out everything from about players coming in, going out. What Owners say, not think or hearsay. It's just if i bother saying it here in the open. I've been open a lot on players we were signing and even give hints in the years gone bye, so not a guess etc.
