They’ve got a real tiebreaker problem. Chargers game is must win.KC are still capable of 5 more wins with the remaining fixtures, including the Broncos again at Arrowhead. The AFC West is probably gone now but the playoffs are still on - just their margin of error has now become really small.
Still, 8-2 is nice, even if it feels like 2-8 at times.Weird, weird game.
Both QBs stifled for different reasons. Goff was pressured on practically every single snap whilst Hurts really struggled to find/hit any targets. The strong winds didnt help either.
The run game was hit & miss for both teams as well. Gibbs was superb for Detriot but not even he could go and win the game for them on his own.
My main takeaway is this - Eagles defense has reached the heights of last season with the addition of Phillips and Dean & Smith returning from injury... but the offense - the banged up o-line in particular - is a major issue and not Superbowl caliber if im being totally honest. Last night was the first time that we were able to play our full contingent on the o-line since Week 1 and both Lane Jonhson & Cam Jurgens were taken out because of injuries again....
I rate him as a decent prospect still, but yeah that Week 1 comeback against the Bears where he had smoke blown up his arse all week afterwards probably got to his head a bit if you ask meUsually i would be fully behind giving a young QB time to develop but JJ McCarthy has lost that goodwill when he started talking about his alter ego and calling himself 9 like he is a character from Stranger things.
