Ive never bought into the narrative that some claim, that Moyes wasn't involved in the transfer process to a certain degree, he's too much of a control freak to come back here and relinquish that influence over the squad. Its an odd take. I mean, imagine Moyes as a passive wallflower

But the decision to restrict Steidten’s access to the first-team dressing room at the London Stadium and the training ground has caused surprise within the club. The move was not made by the board and is understood to have been instigated by Moyes.

Obviously Moyes is central to all senior team recruitment.

In my opinion, no. Moyes was a big factor in us getting Grealish, our performances have been fairly solid and I do believe this is just a rough patch. This isn't a Lampard situation where he was as shot of confidence as the players and had no clear playing style across each game. But I am fully aware a bad run of two or three more games puts us in the bottom three.

Just call me BBC News but seriously though I just can't fathom sacking Moyes right now. And there's no one on the current manager merry-go-round that is a better option for us.

The fans tell me there's an Iraola out there somewhere and they're always right. All we have to is figure out the formula for luck.

Spurs have said that they will probably be sacking Frank in the summer, and will probably be replacing him with Glasner? And Manchester City have said that they are probably going to part ways with Pep Guardiola, to then probably replace him with Iraola?

What we had then was a load of stayaway "fans" and the just over 16,000 who turned up were being handed leaflets demanding Kendall went and holding a banner saying “Kendall and Carter must go. 26,000 stay-away fans can’t be wrong.”

I don't really mean in a stature sense, I mean timing-wise. Both of them have just done the thing of taking lower-midtable prem teams to the next level - they won't be looking at exactly the same brief for their next job.

If I'm wrong I'll tapdance naked on my roof though don't get me wrong.

Even if it's totally abject tomorrow, it's still probably better to leave him in place until the summer (assuming the situation doesn't deteriorate to an extreme degree, which I'd say is quite unlikely).
