New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

That'd be a very clever answer if it had ever addressed my point above...

...and Goodison was well established before all that peripheral use.

*sigh*

What exactly is your issue with the stadium being used for a few other things a year, especially in the summer for music concerts and maybe other events?

I would like a really detailed explanation because either you are just lying about your outrage or you really do have a problem with outsourcing the stadium to maximise revenue and exposure.

Let's first establish that stadium as:

a) a football stadium

and

b) Everton's football stadium

...before we have a 'facility' almost as well known for putting on rugby games, music concerts, Christmas markets...and probably panto's.....oh yes they will!

Surprised at you.

A better moan would have been asking when the first concerts will be announced etc.

There's a guaranteed 19 days a season the stadium is in use for the mens senior team - absolutely essential the stadium is used as much for the rest of the year as possible.

I think you understand it well enough, tbh.

No I really didn't. Marginilisation, having our worth and value (there is no end to this particular comment?), injury to insult, facility operators, allowing Everton to anchor the venue, woolyback lines, and then Evertonians will be paying through the teeth.

Now, this all was mentioned because there may be some faded lines on the pitch for one game. It is absolute unrelated nonsense, just some random buzz words written down like you were a drunk AI bot, and you know it.

The place has Everton fans visiting it every single day...and they're defo not going down there to be seen at the place where the Christmas market's going to be.

If the club had fought a bit more to hammer home inside and outside the stadium that this is the home of Everton FC then these events would simply be taken as good revenue sources. But the way things have started at this stadium - and the noises from those who run the place - makes every other event feel like it's a challenge to be overcome in establishing our identity at the docks.

There is no bigger Everton sign in the country. All these other events are piggy backing on our identity. Its marvellous, considering how abject our brand became.

How d'you mean? I agree most know it's Everton's stadium, but it's also being marketed as something we share.

I'm sorry, that's not on.

I wouldn't mind if Everton were getting this stadium gratis like West Ham and City did there's. But Evertonians will be paying for this stadium lock stock and barrel and to have the inference that this is just some civic hub to draw in consumers from all over the north west - as it has - is a scandal.

Dunno if it’s been mentioned in here but the RFL are looking to rent out the Hill Dickinson in April. Likely to be a triple header game day with the challenge cup semi finals and women’s test match been held all on the same day.

Between 21 March, v Chelsea, and 18 April, the Derby, there are no games at BMD.

Are those RL games already scheduled in that gap?

I used to think it was ridiculous that we can't have a pint whilst watching the game. Then I saw somebody on twitter say it would be mean the absolute worst bellends filming themselves throwing pints for "the limbs" after a goal and realised that yeah, it absolutely needs to stay as a rule.

Which is annoying for the rest of us who don't want to be having to chug a pint at the end of halftime.

It's not the throwing of pints, it's the constant movement of people getting up to go get more or they need a slash. Honestly rugby games at the Principality became a chore in the end.

Not as surprised as I am with your good self.

This is more hyped outrage from the account that has decried...
  • the turbines
  • the colonial aspect of the slave owner connected dock name
  • the 'tuppence ha'penny' sponsorship deal
  • the access to the fan tiles
  • the sponsorship name
  • the budweiser colour adverts
And now the multipurpose stadium use that was in the original design. Besides this not being in any way news, it is not in any way unexpected.

And instead of taking the pish, he's getting earnest replies. Still!

Then there is the hystericals about the nearby new venues and ownerships fight that he's got on a rolling boil.

This is mary whitehouse. Shrill establishmentarian, she lived to ram her beliefs and opinions down the throats of everyone else she could reach.

Parallels.

No, Moyes will have prioritised the league and we'll have gone out in the third or fourth round to lower-league opposition by then:

"Today is not about Everton. It's about Hereford United."
Beautiful. Have they worn in their stadium like a new pair of shoes and thus have the connectivity and established connection with their home? Asking on behalf of histories greatest messenger.
