Who would you keep? None of them are good enough.

Im context of that game, the back 4 suited that deep defence. Shown that in the past. They only had 3 shots on target to our 2 and scored from a deflection.

My issue, and has been since the summer, is pace to break a press or counter. We had zero out ball or threat when we broke free. The two counters we did have, they were on us like a shot.

We could have Mbappe up front but it’s pointless if you don’t have players who can pass which we don’t. Even when we had goal kicks we just kick it long all the way through to their keeper and then rinse and repeat.

The saddest part for me was every Evertonian knowing what was coming the moment Barry fluffed his lines, unfortunately it has been within this club for years now but for me it falls on the fragile mentality of the players and the management, the lack of character, someone getting hold of the rest of them and saying we don't throw this away,an example being the last 15 minutes of the first half,we had our warning then, and what do we do come straight out full on panic mode and concede within a minute,a passive team and passive management.

Grealish can pass. Ask Barry about that perfect pass he blazed over the bar. Garner can pick out a pass too, as can Alcaraz if he has a striker ahead of him who doesn't run like a clapped-out nag with blinkers on.

We are screaming out for a psychologist in our squad on match days, i am absolutely serious. (if we don't already, why not?)

When McNeill came on my TV went off. You have Rohl/Dibling/Alcaraz/Irognunam on the bench and you opt for McNeill?

I understand we've had one serious transfer window to modify the squad so I won't have a go just yet but things do need to me addressed. Hopefully in January. There are enough midfield cards to try a different solution already. Gana/Garner/KDH triangle doesn't offer the physicality required.

We always hear how the likes of Pickford or Coleman or Tarks etc are great leaders, good to have in the squad, good influence on the kids blah blah blah but none of them ever get the game by the scruff of the neck and drag the rest of them to a win.

Seems like a long time since we had anyone with that sort of presence in the team.

I think we can have a go over the substitutions. We’ve bought players and we’re not playing them, even when the team is struggling.
