Yeah we love what Xhaka has done for us, he's probably the main reason i believe we'll stay up this year. His understanding of the game is unreal. I'll be sticking around for sure i joined up in May and it's an excellent forum this one. Anyway i'll be needing all your help at some point, wanting to get tickets for an Everton game for my brother. He's got stage 4 incurable cancer and he wants to visit the new ground, if he's ever up to it before he dies if he can.
Must be loving Xhaka, really has grown up since leaving Arsenal.

Definitely stick around mate, your posts are a good read.

Is he? Xhaka played more progressive passes in one half than I have seen Garner play all season. Why do we expect so little from our central midfielders?

Oh you mean the ex Arsenal double FA Cup and 23/24 Bundesliga winner (whos side went undefeated all season i believe) playing in a side that doesn't have a number 10?

Garner role is to win it, give it to the creative players.

I went to bed when they equalised because it looked like a good pasting was the only outcome. Got to say I’m pleasantly surprised by the result, but I’m older and less patient than I used to be so I think I’m ready to take up permanent residence in Moyes Out Camp. Bored to tears already of his complete tactical inflexibility and inability/unwillingness to see what’s happening right in front of him.

And for those who might be inclined to ask ā€œwho would you replace him with?ā€: Guess what? I don’t care. Not my job. Why not go for Martinez and start the whole cycle again? Maybe by the time we get to Silva we’ll do better.

It's 100% about distribution. You need players who are comfortable on the ball and can beat a press. Our centre backs and midfielders just cough up the ball continuously under the slightest pressure.

KDH, Grealish, Ndiaye, Garner, Alcaraz, Dibbling all good enough on the ball. None of them could keep it 2nd half or didn't even play.

Worst first 30 minutes we have played all season and you lot should have been two up. That being said, From the last 15 of the first half until the end I think we pretty much dominated and should have managed to knick a winner.

All things considered its another point on the board and a good start, I think we should survive.

I think this game represents the state of Everton as we actually are. We got a little excited at the start of the season, but the facts of the situation are that we have not fully recovered from the last 3 years of utter turmoil and turgid football.

We should back Moyes and look for new signings. We can’t constantly go back to constantly sacking managers for short-term gains…

FYI
We have 3 points more than last year and the quality of the league has definitely improved

Fullbacks poor, strikers poor , no pace , a No8 in the No10 role, centre half at rightback , Dibling homesick as he's been before apparently? Set pieces worse than ever. So a good point all considered

To do that you need to pass forward. Why do we have such low expectations.
