Would he be the kind of manager to attract players from abroad? I wouldn't think so. For me, he's part of the problem.

We need a tracksuit coach tbh. Like Iraola.
And we need a transfer strategy that identifies player types required for specific roles in the team.

As a club we seem chained to old school managers and signing players based on reputation size or purple patches. With absolutely no plan on how the team will accommodate them.

They could have gone second with a win which is incredible for them. That makes a point sound ok. But aside from effort, determination, and appealing for loads of penalties, they were actually poor, and created nothing of real note despite us putting in a hour of absolute filth.
Look, you have to give them credit. They played very well and were all over us like a rash. A start like they had doesn’t happen by accident. They did a very good job pressing us all over the pitch.

Im quite sick of us having no fight and no desire. Most weeks I find myself shouting into the screen (void) about a lack of running, accurate touches and generally unprofessional levels of play. I constantly wonder what training looks like because there is no evidence of playing relationships and trust being developed among the team.

We have a malaise about us that started in during Martinez's 2nd season and was cemented with the shocking appointments of Allardyce, Benitez, Lampard and Dyche. Folks on this board often talk about clearing out the dead wood among the players, but it never works out. Even players like Grealish get evertonized.

If only one could choose another team to support.

FWIW, today's match wasn't the worst result nor performance, im just sick of watching the same turgid crap for weeks at a time.

Pickford, Keane, Ndiaye, played well, Grealish, Mykolenko and Garner OK. Others were abysmal. What Moyes is telling them to do, I don't know? Amount of times we pointlessly lost possession was ridiculous. KDH is showing why Chelsea got rid of him, he was worst culprit. But ultimately it was Barry who was to blame for that collapse. Set up perfectly, yet somehow misses it. Against better teams we will be punished for being so crap.

Over the 90 minutes that was a poor performance. You cannot rely on N'Diayes genius to get us out of trouble. What do we do when he is at AFCON? I hate to say it but Tarkowski needs to be dropped for the Fulham game.
Moyes use of subs was criminal. Did he think McNeil would bring defensive quality ? Post match he said McNeil trained well this week...WTF? He knows he screwed up. He is leaving talent wasting on the bench. Dewsbury-Hall's job was to block Xhaka he did it well for 30 mins.
Moyes first 2 subs should have been
N'Diaye - Dibling
KDH - Rohl

I would not be surprised to see Moyes gone by Christmas.

Second half, every time a long throw in comes in and gets headed by someone and there is that half second when you can’t tell if the trajectory of the ball is into the net or away from goal. Not a fun watch at all, that second half.

…..the game turned upside down with the Barry miss, so bad it looked like it knocked the stuffing out of us and we lost all momentum. He’d not done too bad until that point, but the booking was always going to be a factor in him being replaced. A little surprised that didn’t happen at half-time, maybe the equaliser miffed Moyes into making the change.

Given the match situation, I was glad to see McNeil coming on over Dibling but he was atrocious. He looks a shadow of the player who was so important to us the last 18 months, I can only think he needs games but he’s not doing his chances of replacing Ndiaye for AFCON any good.

Alcaraz another who did his chances of starting games no good. I really trusted him to pick a pass in that situation he had, he’s normally so good in that regard but his general play summed us up in possession.

I wasn’t happy with 6 minutes injury time, which suggests it was more a point gained than 2 lost.

20 points at Christmas looking a fair bit away at this point.
