This was always going to be a tough game, but Moyes has me absolutely furious.

Hooking Barry off for Beto was absolutely pointless. Barry is the better player, and he desperately needs a goal. Moyes is destroying their confidence.

KDH is not a 10. We have a 10 sitting on the bench every single week and it’s getting ridiculous now.

Spending 45m on a player when we desperately needed fullbacks is unforgivable if you’re then going to put Dwight McNeil on the pitch before him.

Moyes is just constantly starting his little favourites now and it’s beginning to hurt the team. We are so off balance because he’s just shoe horning his favourite players in.

Barry has only got himself to blame for being subbed. Missed a sitter and got a ridiculous booking. You could see the moment in the 2nd half when Moyes lost patience with him, when he once again gave the ball away cheaply.

I think most are now agreed, on what has been obvious since the start of the season.

Hopefully neither of our CFs are here because Moyes “believes in them coming good” and that he’s arguing for mega change in January.

It would however help, in the interim, if he gave up on operation fiasco and left both of them out.
I could not agree with this more and would 'like' this post a hunnit n fiddy times if I could. We must be the only team in the league with 2 strikers on the books (lunacy giving we've been bottom of the goals scored table for years), however...... makes you wonder who orchestrated those events; paying ~£90m for bench players whilst we can't score a goal.

I'd happily wager we'll make a striker loan signing in January, but if I were the manager, Beto and Barry would be lucky to be in the matchday squad. If they never wore a blue shirt again it would take me all of 2 seconds to forget either ever existed.

And then Beto came on and done absolutely zilch.

I don't think Jack is the problem
I don’t think he’s the problem either, the problem is scattergun recruitment due to Moyes being given too much control and managing in an analogue way in a digital age. Grealish is a problem, amongst many, but that’s not his fault at all - it’s just that he one of a number of players who all have strengths but don’t add up to an effective style of play.

Excellent classy first half. Sunderland had to come back unless their high league position is false.
There is no such thing as a "false" league position. You are where you earn the right to be. But then, some people think a team with 2 strikers who have scored about 1 goal between them in 10 games is getting Europe because forty years ago we were good, so people will see what they want to see.

So if individual players aren't to blame, who is responsible for a £27m striker with 130 senior games (and 50 odd goals?!?) under his belt missing the target from barely yard out?
He is to blame but his confidence is down and its his first away start but the whole setup isn't helping any of the players atm for me, something needs to change.
