All in all, a good away point.
If Barry had scored that sitter, we would have coasted to a win.
Nothing new really, in a nutshell, we have no decent striker
"a good away point"? Ya avin a laff! Should have been 2 up and coasting against these. Having played the game and trying to feed these TWO inept "strikers" and working my socks off, I'd be kicking a boot at them in the dressing room after a game. Am not messin! I would! They totally do my head in!

Given the financial circumstances he had to deal with plus interference from Moshiri and Kenwright he worked minor miracles. No surprise his best windows were late on. We’d be in a better position if he and Purdy
Would have been here in the summer.
110%. We'll never know now. When Moyes is gone we'll get a new DOF and manager and the whole thing will start again.

KDH has been poor there for several games now. I'd give either Alcaraz or Rohl a run out there for a couple of games to see how it goes. I'd suggest a change of formation but we all know Moyes won't change his system.
I agree. KDH isn't a player you turn to when things are going wrong. He's a good times player. Alcaraz is someone who can come on and change a game. Given he died with that chance but we looked a bit better when him and Timmy came on. Couldn't be worse tbh

Have we become a better team? Have we been better in the first third of this season than the last third of last season?
Well better football ability wise I think. But Moyes himself has said we are set up to play differently now compared to last season, where we played to our strikers strengths (through balls etc to Beto) whereas now we have nothing like that and we're playing like DCL is up top

Ive got to balance it. If we took the chances in those 35 mins then moyes gets the credit. It was our best 30 odd minutes in a while.
Its just very alarming how quickly that deflated
But that is why the best managers can still turn it around when you don’t take chances and are on the back foot. You change something. We don’t carry on waiting for them to score again.

In the circumstances it was a good point. Sunderland had a huge amount of pressure.
