….hard work, certainly settle for a point after they equalised so early in the 2nd half.

I have to think the Barry miss took the wind out of our sails, we were not the same after that moment. Could explain lots of poor performances after a bright start.

Think it’s the first time Alcaraz hasn’t picked a key pass when running at goal like he did. Pretty much summed us up in possession. I can see Barry starting again at the weekend, despite the miss he was better overall than Beto.

Keane MOM.
My thoughts exactly Eggs, disappointed with Alcaraz when he came on, he's better than that he's maybe grassed off by now that he's not getting in the team.
I was a big critic of Keane last season and couldn't believe we kept him on but fair play to him he's probably been our best centre back this season, who'd have thought it.

Are we absolutely sure we won’t get dragged into a relegation battle….

So so many weaknesses in this team. Losing Ndiaye to the AFCON removes a massive portion of our attacking threat.
We might have lost N'Diaye to injury. That's a huge worry to me. Without him we lose half of our goals.

Its a relegation team on relegation form. Playing like that means big trouble!

I have no idea what Moyes was doing with the subs. Presumably his trust in Dibling is virtually zero if he brings on a non-match-fit McNeil to run the right. Then takes O'Brien off, moves Garner to right-back and brings on Iroegbunam, rather than the simple replacement of Röhl for Gueye or Garner or Dewsbury-Hall. Alcaraz for Dewsbury-Hall, I can see and a lot of people were calling for it, but he then turns in his worst 10 minutes in his short Everton career.

Lucky point there, but worryingly we seem to run out of conviction (and puff) in midfield after our attacking 30 minutes. I appreciate it must be soul-destroying for them knowing you have two strikers who will manage to screw up any ball that comes within two inches of them.

Moyes was right to hook Barry. First half he missed a sitter and picked up a ridiculously stupid yellow. Then, just before he got subbed, he failed to hold the ball up.

At that point the manager had seen enough. But it’s a massive problem of course. Neither of our strikers are anywhere near the level required in the PL.

He’s a young lad struggling for confidence.

He’s not being managed well imo.
