The team selected tonight is the same as most of the games this season with the team obviously struggling and playing poorly. The manager cannot adapt nor will he? He is inflexible and even a pub team coach can see when changes are needed to improve the balance and set up of a team. Nothing is happening. Why would a team thumped at home by Tottenham suddenly beat an in form team away from home. Utterly utterly ridiculous!!!!
I see your point mate. But don't think we have the squad to change much. I think a decent striker transforms this squad.
 

Not very confident going into this.
With Sunderland playing a back 5, we will have even fewer opportunities to score (which we largely squander)

We progress the ball up the pitch too slow allowing defenses to get set. We progress the ball only to Ndiaye or Grealish who will be double teamed or triple teamed and expect them to perform magic. If we do get it to Barry it will be via long goal kick and there will be 5-7 Sunderland players between him and the closest Everton player.

Moyes needs to start changing things up. It's all far to predictable for opposition managers.
