Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

No he did a little speech thanking everyone for their support over the last year, then read out some of the lyrics to Annie's Song and popped the question
Absolutely shocking news about the train. I did think of ypu last night when I heard about it.
Reading out the lyrics before proposing is lovely and a bit like doing a mixtape to your girlfriend/ boyfriend as we used to do in the 70s.
I often find myself quoting my hero Paul Simon. Good job I don't pick up the wrong page and quote "I'd rather jack than Fleetwood Mac" by the Reynolds sisters instead 😂

Good morning all. Last night was fun. I was not on megaphone duty sadly but I was 'on the rope' i.e patrolling the barrier between the crowd and the fireworks, making sure nobody got too close. It was a very well behaved audience apart from one over excited three year old who slipped his parents and shot under the rope. I've never seen a man move so fast as his Dad did to catch him. I love spirited kids when I have zero responsibility for them!
I've been to the gym this morning, I couldn't get in to the aqua aerobics class - it was fully booked so exercise bike and treadmill it was.
I've applied to be in the ballot for the Newcastle match at the end of November. Fingers crossed.
It is Mr F's birthday today so we are going out for a late lunch once he comes back from work at about 1.30. No idea where we are going, I keep saying - it's your birthday, you choose! So far no decision has been made. I'll let you know - we will probably end up in Burger King 🤣
Have a great day everyone x

Happy birthday to Mr F , he's probably still grumpy after his team failed to show up at the London stadium yesterday.

Happy birthday to Mr F. I’m a bit disappointed you never got to use the megaphone tbh 😂

Hi folks. We ended up in Durham at the all you can eat Chinese buffet. I am now very full and feel like doing what our cat is currently engaged in - sleeping under the radiator!
I took the photos as we walked along the river towards the restaurant. Durham Cathedral and you can just see a little bit of Durham Castle at the edge of the pic1000012838.webp61c11487-3e5d-4ab0-abf4-4871f792c096-1_all_11007.webp

No. Too soon. But he is far too cautious. He seems to be making noises about playing a false 9 - Ndaiye plays up front for Senegal. Have him in the middle and Grealish and Dewsbury-Hall out wide.
Wouldn't mind that or even give Dibling a go wide right.

Or play Garner at RB and KDH or Merlin alongside Gana .

Or play Alcaraz as a 10.

Moyes needs to break the habit of a lifetime and do something different.

So boys and girls is it "Moyes out " if he selects exactly the same team and we lose again tonight?
Even with just the one expected change it’s too early for the Moyes out chants to start. While we can reasonably expect more from the team, we must also accept that we are in huge transition. Not long ago we were facing football oblivion so I will gladly take a mid table season this time.
