I was at that game. I think we won the season opener with a Biley goal ( i think Kendall was playing) then drew v Leeds away then went downhill.Alan Biley. November 21 1981 ( you will be unsurprised to know that he missed).
Yes, beat Birmingham at home on the opening day 3-1 and as you say, drew at Leeds. Biley scored in both games.I was at that game. I think we won the season opener with a Biley goal ( i think Kendall was playing) then drew v Leeds away then went downhill.
And the time of his subs. 60 mins change centre forwards, 80 mins bring Alcaraz on.Moyes announced the line up for this 7 games sgo.
Unless hes pissed him off and its 87And the time of his subs. 60 mins change centre forwards, 80 mins bring Alcaraz on.
Would like to see that line up but i fear Moyes would rather give up his lifetime Iron Bru subscription before putting that team out.Our next game against Sunderland feels like a valuable opportunity to re-gain some positivity, but it will not be an easy fixture against a Sunderland team who look set to survive this season having had a very impressive start.
I would make some changes to the starting XI and our set-up.
Pickford
Garner - O'Brien - Tarkowski - Mykolenko
Gana Gueye - Dewsbury-Hall
Dibling - Alcaraz - Grealish
Ndiaye
It would be a cool segue to go from a "Moyles" to a Bris.....Apparently their manager is a lovely fella and has a doctorate to boot, so woo get him - hopefully we can do a reverse of the usual time-for-Everton on them
