I know everyone is hoping for some changes on Monday, but I’ve got a sinking feeling that it’ll be the same XI that started against Spurs, with the same result

I have a different feeling, a positive one, not sinking bur rising. We will set up differently, we will play without a true centre forward.
PS. Yes, before you witty ones jump in, I know we have played without a centre forward all season

Actually, we can, I recall we scored 3 away at Wolves... and 2 on a few occasions.

Sunderland are in a good position and have done very well so far.
But their home games have been against West ham, wolves , Brentford who they beat and a draw against Villa.
We are well capable of getting a win but we need to be better at taking chances. First goal will be absolutely vital .

That is all true.

However, I have never felt such trepidation over a game versus Sunderland

Same here , moyes will have us score first then low block hold on to try and grind out but it won't work with our shaky defence and open midfield.
