Problem is the Chiefs D can’t keep up either
Almost every game he loses is a low scoring defensive game where every possession matters. If the defence isn't allowing the deep throws, he isn't willing to take what's on offer and be patient.
He is a very good offensive coach. I don't believe he is a great head coach and his game management can be very erratic. Going for it on 4th and 9 with 11 minutes to go, was absolutely baffling. Especially since in previous years he would kick on 4th and 1 or 2. Think NFC championship!!!
He's been in charge a long time now. I think we have to accept he's just good and not great.

For me a big problem the last couple of years is the personnel usage. Doubs is awesome. Golden seems really really good. I like Watson a lot but he's rarely healthy tbf. But you see a ton of Jacobs who is a largely inefficient runner and lacks the explosiveness you'd want from a guy touching the ball that much. Malik Heath is out there. Savion Williams keeps getting the ball. It feels like he's doing too much to me.
Needed that pts gap with Kansas receiving 2nd half.
He calls a run out of the shotgun on basically every first down. It gets 1 or 2 yards. It's very frustrating.
There are plenty of options for the pass game but there are 4 injuries now which isn't ideal. Even still, he needs to let Love be the main part of his offence rather than the run game.
I saw someone earlier say MLF is coaching for the team he wants to have and not the team he does have. And that's spot on. This isnt a run first team.

Yeah that's an excellent way of putting it. I've seen that more than enough times with the Ravens (they're still doing it with their run game tbh) and it stinks because once they do realize it they can fix it since the talent is there. Maybe this is the wake up call.
That was three of the biggest back-to-back-to-back stops I’ve ever seen from a McDermott Bills team.
I dont think it honestly will make a difference now. Looks like Kraft has done his ACL and Golden has a bad shoulder injury. Wicks and Reed are also out. I'm not sure they can cope with that many injuries.
Love needs Kraft underneath to open up the big plays. I'm not sure how the offence works well without him.

Well it looks like Matt is going to have to coach the team. The defense seems pretty good so we're not talking about all the points in the world. They can keep it afloat until they get Wicks, Reed and maybe Golden back.

NFL is mental most weeks but that bears game probably most mental game I've ever seen
We could be up 30pts with a minute on the clock against the Chiefs and I’d still be bricking it. This 15pt difference is nice to have, but doesn’t mean a thing right now.
No excuse if the Bills lose this whilst up 15 with the Chiefs sitting at 4th and 17.
