ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I think he actually does. Some of the comments and excuses from him after spending half a billion quid scream it.

He knows he peaked last season, flunking and fluke-ing a league title, with shippmanns asthmatics still full of salbutamol and running.

The new signings are not the same kind of players as those who they replaced (Diaz is a massive miss for them, even the crab Nunez and also Jota but not to a lesser degree) so they can’t do what they did last season.

Add salah and van baders huge new contracts and drop off in form while being undroppable, and the over paying of wirtz and isak (also undroppable) and even the fullbacks which has totally unbalanced the team he had.

The fans have already turned on him, so he must be thinking wtf, this ain’t worth it, I’ll have me pay off.
They won the league last season because city lost nine and arsenal drew fourteen, I thought lpool looked ordinary last season.

VVD has been on the decline for the last 2 seasons, once the pundits media pull their bellend out of his hoop they might highlight it
Salah just wanted his last big contract and got it
Mac Alister is a good player but very overrated because of who he plays for

I dont think its bad run of form its what they are, the end of last season showed that and the start of this season they got away it in most games. They deservedly won the league last season but only because none of their challenges could muster any sort of pressure, City and Arsenal both dipped massively while Liverpool remained the same which got them the title.

People forget how many favours they got in the early part of last season. It was absolutely ridiculous week after week. The gulf between them and faltering challengers then just became too big. The game against PSG proved though, they were absolutely miles off it, and even the two derbies we were in behind them more times than I can ever remember against them.

They rode their luck a lot last season and Slot would be viewed very differently now if a City or Arsenal had just slapped down a 95 point season because Liverpool were streaky as anything last season.

Karl: ā€œHe should be given more time. We aren't a knee-jerk reaction team. Everyone is still dealing with the loss of Diogo Jota, and then adding so many
new players into the mix. He is still the right man for the job.ā€

Still using the Jota passing, why can’t they just let the man rest in peace.

They didnt seem affected by it when they were winning
