NFL 2025 Season

Ed Oliver out indefinitely for the Bills with a torn bicep. That is a massive loss.

The game this week isn’t about ‘beating the chiefs’ for bragging rights or creating narratives about which of the 2 will go on to the Super Bowl etc. For me it’s just about trying to get a win to keep pace with the Patriots and improve our postseason chances. I’d say the Chiefs are looking at it like that as well. Neither team are were they want to be heading into this game. We’re usually going into it as the top two with the #1 seed up for grabs. Plus, we know the Bills can do it in the regular season, it doesn’t tell us anything. This week is just another game.

Mahomes throwing two picks in the first half wasn't on my bingo card considering how he'd been playing last couple weeks 😬 he was great after that though.

Also - that Zack Ertz non-first down on the virtual measurement was... odd. He certainly looked to have hit the sticks and then was measured 5 inches short? 🤔

For the Chiefs the next 3 games are incredibly important.

Bills
Broncos
Colts

Win all 3 and the 1 seed is firmly in sight.

Looking at the schedule it appears New England has the easiest run in of all the division leaders so if the Bills lose I think they will struggle to win the division.

I'm starting to accept that the Patriots might actually just be really good and that the AFC East might not be the Bills' to lose anymore. They're not exactly flush with weapons, but they are very solid both sides of the ball and Maye looks like the next Superman QB. They should be seen as a genuine contender to make the AFC Championship game

Wouldn't be surprised to see Philly go for a CB before the trade deadline. Denzel Ward is a name that has been bandied about but I'd imagine that could be unlikely.
