Fixed! To be clear, you think that a guy who was sick enough to rape and assault a woman, and then got away with it, will not continue to commit crimes?
Apparently you havent met Turds!

I was bringing his name into it to adhere to that you cannot support a person who has done prison time for an assault and refuse to potentially support a person who was cleared of everything. One, the evidence was on the pitch, the second as you said was audio of it. Who is the one with a criminal record answer me that?'Did he get found guilty?' It's literally all recorded on audio and video you dunce. Inexcusable and unforgivable. There's enough football players in the world that there is absolutely 0 reason to consider staining the club with any association to Greenwood.
He's a rapist and a woman beater, 2 accusations that could not be levelled at Dunc so not sure why you're bringing his name into it.
Beyond depressing that this conversation comes up in every transfer thread like clockwork.
That's a fair enough viewpoint and I have no argument with thatHe is back playing professional football mate .. he is not suffering too much.
But as a club the vast majority think that signing him would be a horrible decision. He was shown to be an odious individual.. Having him here would be an insult to our fan base especially to our female supporters.
Ferguson was harshly treated in all honesty. Get a grip. It wasn’t a suggestion of us actually going to sign him, it was more a, I wouldn’t have a problem with us signing him. If you have please leave the forum, or earth, or both.People in here defending/advocating Mason Greenwood please leave this forum. Or leave Earth. Or both.
Not really the thread for it but it's important (in fact, I would say imperative) to note that Greenwood was absolutely not 'cleared of everything'. The CPS effectively dropped the case because the victim refused to testify because she'd got back together with him (after he'd breached his bail conditions by contacting her). The difference that makes to what you're saying is absolutely enormous, he isn't an innocent man who was wrongly accused, he's blatantly guilty and everybody knows it.I was bringing his name into it to adhere to that you cannot support a person who has done prison time for an assault and refuse to potentially support a person who was cleared of everything. For lots of jobs you have a DBS done or should we just scrap that because their crime was in the past? And whilst football is different in that it’s not direct facing with vulnerable people for example, they still have roles working with children and doing publicity and then being idolised by children. There’s a message it sends.I've never suggested signing him that was someone else. I merely questioned how as a society we treat people who are rebuilding their lives after a misdemeanor. Do we forever treat them as scum on a previous sin or do we see them for how they are at the current time in their lives? If we don't forgive then shouldn't we just throw them in jail for lost and never accept them in society again?
Doesn't that make the whole thing trickier though? I mean, she got back with him, they have a kid and they even live together in France. You have to bear in mind their backgrounds and how everything developed, especially since. Not that I advocate signing him, but both of them have moved on and its hard to draw conclusions from selected videos on social media. Not really the thread for it but it's important (in fact, I would say imperative) to note that Greenwood was absolutely not 'cleared of everything'. In fact, they have just had a second kid. Maybe the whole thing got rather blown
out of proportion?
Yeah, but we also live in a society and under a system where people are supposed to get a second chance.Erm, no. Maybe go back and listen to the evidence. It’s irrelevant what’s happened since and doesn’t change what happened.

Fully agree if it wasn’t for some oddball sat at home he never would have been done.Ferguson was harshly treated in all honesty. If you read his autobiography you'll find out why
