New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Obviously never took any notice at the time when other top sides moved ground.
However i'd love to know their criteria for doing it.
Did they roughly transpose the crowd /season ticket holders to a similar place at the new ground or did they dilute the core fan base structure with a free for all?
Goodison had all 4 sides which you knew what to expect.
The street end has sucked the ball in to the net for 100 years.
As a poster above alluded to and as i said before the move....why were efforts not made to keep fans where they were?
Yes, it's a new ground and yes give it time I'll be told.
Just can't help feeling we may have hit the ground running with a like for like seat exchange as far as was humanly possible.
It was an option in the fan questionnaires, to try and overlay the Goodison seat plan onto the new stadium and try and keep fans in a similar position. Missing my old Top Balc row gang. Club View put paid to that idea and they went with the Tenure thing.

Saw this yesterday by The Vernon. Bit of a hike in my opinion.

For a while (on tv) it sounded like Tottenham were at home. Oh when the Spurs.... came through loud and clear.

For a 3 nil win they weren’t as loud as you would think. By the 70 something minute the volume turned up, other than that thought West Ham fans made more noise.

They always put the microphone next to the away fans so this is why it is so clear during the broadcast.

It’s quiet isn’t it. I’m used to shouting my head off at the game and I think I shouted a swear word yesterday at Pawson and I felt like a criminal. It’s eerily quiet and there defo needs to be something done. The home end should be intimidating and at the moment it just looks boring.

I'm in the Lower East towards the South Stand and I used to sit in the Upper Bullens near the Gwladys Street.

It doesn't seem any worse to me than at Goodison for the same type of games we've played and I actually think the atmosphere has been better.

Watched a clip of Tarkowski the other day saying the noise has been "incredible" which I reckon is down to the acoustics and design of the stadium. At it's loud moments it's going to be among the best in the country and that is what the players will notice.

Most atmospheres are woeful unless it's a big game except for clubs like Leeds who have a cauldron of noise due to being back in the big time again. Them and Sunderland will revert to being quiet and bored if they get some stability and stay up finishing bottom half each season.

I reckon for the bigger games it will be a great atmosphere, just like at Goodison and mostly quiet for the other matches.

I think with the South Stand lower being standing only, it was a chance for people who prefer to sit to get out of there and try somewhere else.

I think the club should do some sort of review in the summer and see if people want to do a seat transfer. I think it's fair.
You would hope there will be a big review of things after the first season.👍

I dont understand. They're seats where l've seen fans in before. I've seen that section full. They're just not filled all the time. 🤷‍♂️
For the live sky and tnt games they have more cameras at the ground than there normally would be. If it’s not on either of those channels live, there will be less cameras, and those areas you have pointed out will have fans in them.

I understand but at the same time it’s our brand new ground. It would seem that there are a few things wrong at the moment.

Yeah i don’t really get this either. People want a place to drink and watch other games, not to listen to someone singing there she goes over and over.

Both of the nightclub ones have giant screens showing a game and put the guitarist in front of them. Making sure they turn the volume to full blast so you can't even speak to your mates.

I could just about cope having someone with a guitar in the outdoor area or in a corner without the mega speakers on full blast. Do they think we are going to their venues to listen to the live act?
