High school football can be glorious, the best of all football. If you visit Texas on a Friday night you have to partake when given the chance.
Be careful what you wish for, and here's your first payment. Go get a job, loser.
He had to leave Louisiana because there wasn't anybody left he hadn't pissed off. He has to find a bigger state to work in.
He's too good for Notre Dame and not good enough for LSU. I have no idea where he goes, but if he waits a year people will forget he's not a good coach. If he doesn't want to sit out a year, Stillwater is a nice place.

Favorite part of Friday night football is the band, and most of these kids aren't even playing at the next level*. Just so good when it's good.
*sometimes the band is the best part. I've not yet attended a Bayou Classic, which is a d*mn shame given how close I live to both schools.

Son2 did a music camp at LSU last year and that's the first time I've sat in on an advanced band performance (outside of marching band) and they did some really fun stuff. Forgot who the guest conductor was but he seemed really great. A little more energy than you usually get playing with strings.
