My local university gets about 1500 each game I would guess. So there's at least a little atmosphere.
Oh I meant college soccer getting more than non-league but I guess not. Thought the game might be more popular now.

It’s a great time but the product is not really pushed as much as it could be. Fine by me. Keeps it cheap.Oh I meant college soccer getting more than non-league but I guess not. Thought the game might be more popular now.
College lacrosse is a blast if you’re near UNC or DukeIt can be. College soccer is the most affordable and enjoyable entertainment we have now with prices skyrocketing for everything else. I imagine it’s like your version of non league in that regard.
One for the sickos. I was in Atlanta a few weeks back and went to a high school pre-season game - Mill Creek.
Just discovered their most famous player is Caleb Downs.
Be careful what you wish for, and here's your first payment. Go get a job, loser.Brian Kelly quotes:
"I want to be in an environment where I have the resources to win a national championship," Brian Kelly said in April 2022 after leaving Notre Dame for LSU.
"What do you think? Look, listen, here's my point -- the standard is the standard here. I didn't come down here to go 8-4. Nobody in that room is happy to go 8-4. [2024]
“We have a strong young nucleus in our program, but now it’s time to add to that,” Kelly said in December. “Those that have moved on, we wish them the best, and now we feel like we’ve put ourselves in a position where we can put together an SEC Championship roster.” [2024]
"So you know again we're taking receipts and you know we'll see the national championship." [2024]
“This is the best roster that we’ve put together,” Kelly acknowledged during a recent SEC Network appearance. The combination of elite quarterback play, strategic portal additions, and recruiting momentum has created championship-level expectations. [2025]
Brian Kelly observations:
There isn't a single fanbase that Brian Kelly has coached that likes him (as far as I can tell)
Kelly is the first LSU head coach in 25 years to not win a national championship.

He had to leave Louisiana because there wasn't anybody left he hadn't pissed off. He has to find a bigger state to work in.
Nothing better in the world than a proper Friday night under the lights. Imagine watching Derrick Henry in high school.High school football can be glorious, the best of all football. If you visit Texas on a Friday night you have to partake when given the chance.

He always played for the biggest rival of my team on every level. Great kid.
Favorite part of Friday night football is the band, and most of these kids aren't even playing at the next level*. Just so good when it's good.
*sometimes the band is the best part. I've not yet attended a Bayou Classic, which is a d*mn shame given how close I live to both schools.
Get you some brass, lads.
I was in the binness, in a previous life. I was staff at Indiana with the Hundred while working on my Master's.
I haven't worked HBCU, but I have friends who do. I have a former partner in crime working at Howard.
Florida Classic is EPIC. Here's a favorite from BC:
Best consumed loud on some good headphones.
It's contest season. You live in the world of 6 to 5. You're East of I-45.
It's still the twentieth century there. IYKYK.
