2025/26 Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

Needs to be playing in a midfield three with Garner & Rohl with either Alcaraz or Dibling on the pitch at the same time in a front three with Ndiaye & Grealish. Simple.

6, 8 or 10. He still needs to do the bloody basics of making forward passes and speeding up the tempo of his game. I don’t believe moving him deeper will magically transform his passing range and ability overnight.

Tom Cleverly 2.0

he’s essentially the new Osman

anonymous for 90 minutes but tidy on the ball

and yes it will be 90 minutes. every bloody week

Sorry, I forgot you knew KDH's best position more than... KDH does.
Remember when Fellaini insisted for years he was a sitting midfielder and never was actually good at anything but getting in the area and scoring goals from midfield?

He might want to be an 8 but he’s probably not in this league given his physical attributes.

1. Completely different players

2. Felli was barely 20 years old when he first joined and, certainly as far as I was aware, never questioned the role that Moyes handed him..

If you keep playing a crap player than you cant have a go at the player for being crap, you complain at who's picking him..

KDH is not a 10 in the slightest , so blame the person playing him there, rather than blaming the player..

Its clearly on Moyes.

He's overpaid for another teams unwanted player.

Then he's put him out of position from day 1 and every single game he's been poor or anonymous.

Another player signed for less than half his fee has upstaged him yet cant get in the team.

We dont use a 6 so KDH doesnt have the defensive cover he needs either.

This reminds me of the Kroldrup signing but he at least had the sense to drop him after a defeat against Villa and sell quickly.

I'd be dropping him for Alcaraz and putting the feelers out to sell KDH in January.

….as posters know, I was never keen on bringing this lad in. I’ve never been overly keen on him but Moyes explained we needed quality in possession, especially in the top third and to be fair he does look after the ball.

I have no real view on his best position except Moyes clearly prefers him in his current role to his other options. I do think he links quite well with Grealish, they appear on the same wavelength and he’s generally been fine.
