I’ve seen loads of people saying this but the truth is there’s very little evidence to back it up, it’s pure conjecture.

They hired Gasperini who spent literally years and years overcoming one botch at Inter before having to wait to bring unfashionable Atalanta to champions league football and a europa league win. What’s the point? The Friedkins. Roma were crap all last season. They moved to hire a proper tactically astute manager who’s put them on course already for potential success. In sort order time too.
