See, the reason I dont think we have much of a chance in matches like this isnt really about whether we can outplay a team. Its that we know the league hates us, and we are at such a massive disadvantage with refereeing against the sly 6. Every match like this you see 2-3 momentous decisions and they all go one direction.

We make a couple of mistakes and its very hard to make up, because the other clubs mistakes are covered by a whistle or a man in a booth somewhere.

Overall we gave it to them pretty well, had to have goals weirdly ruled out and penalties weirdly denied again to keep us from having a shot at it.

Nah, not for me. They were putting teams to the sword not scraping through and relying on corners.

When Martinez was here we got 72 points and finished 5th to Arsenal. 72 points these days gets you third.

My lad just showed me this disallowed goal again. Hmmm…looking it it again I’ve changed my mind, there is no reason for it to be chalked off and we’ve been done once again by Pawson.

The reason one team runs away with it is because the rest of the league is tripe. Last years league was terrible and this looks like it could be similar.

The standard of football is poor almost as poor as the officiating which is at an all time low. When you watch a game now you don't see great skill or ability just players who run more and have great fitness and endurance but this has come at the expense of skill and ability.

Ok mate, just don’t agree. Bit mad that English teams consistently go deep in European competition and in large numbers given how dreadful it is, but there you go.
