2025/26 David Moyes

As a few of us said, leaving Moyes in control of transfers and the 'committee' being him, a bloke to negotiate and the CEO was a clear error.

Moyes mouthing off in the media for the soundbites and to take blame away for his potential failings was the icing on the cake.

Saying he wanted "robust" players and then signing an injury plagued Merlin Role was the cherry on top.

What a mess.

Grealish and KDH slow the game down and just play with one another - its limiting the play. Take Grealish out and KDH does nothing on the ball that frightens the opposition.

Moyes has put the building blocks in for a team that doesnt make any sense at all.
Pretty much agree apart from the Merlin Rohl comment, think that's an exaggeration tbh.

I could take Moyes as manager for the short term (I wouldn't be happy but I could live with it) but putting him in charge of transfers & ditching the DOF role was a massive no from me. I think the club has made a massive error on that front.

I dont believe in what we are trying to do and think we should be doing much better. On and off the pitch. I dont enjoy watching us play and I think we've played well for about 2 halves of football all season.

It all goes back to the Wolves game for me. I saw what I needed to see back then. Not the right manager moving forward.
100 percent. The wolves game made absolutely no sense. Any momentum they had built was lost and when asked about why so many changes came out with 'no real reason'.
Makes you wonder exactly what the club is trying to achieve or is there simply no ambition to achieve anything.
As for Beto and Barry think it time to draw a line through the pair of them, try something else, anything can't be as bad as those pair.

The way we're playing isn't that big an issue right now IMO. It's more the lack of quality within the first XI.

Signing off on deals for Dibling, Barry and Aznou when our first XI is rubbish? Well not even his biggest sycophants can defend that without looking ridiculous. But they'll give it a good try.

And we're not even at the point of a season when a thin squad is a huge problem. We'll be losing Ndiaye and Gueye soon and picking up injuries. God help us.

He's really riling me up this season. At this point I just desperately want to see the back of him. He made it clear he signs off on all players brought in and plenty of money was made available.
We spent less than the league average and had to spread 116M over nine players. We also ranked ninth in the league in terms of spend, despite having to replace many players to have a squad.

We’re caught in a transition in my opinion, invested in a lot of players who need to be bedded in and developed at this level, the ones we have brought in to start are being double marked, it will take time to develop and build cohesion.

We’re also short in key areas other teams are targeting, full back and central midfield.

Managers job to find an on field solution.

We've been in a transition since 1987
