Match Thread Everton 0-3 Spurs . Sun Oct 26th. 4.30

Which striker of substance do you think would possibly be available in January? And why would they look at our short highlight reel and decide playing for us would be the answer. Until we consistently win, we attract the likes of Beto and Barry. It’s that simple. Delap turned us down to ride the bench at Chelsea.

If we don't sign a striker in Jan then we run the very real risk of getting dragged into a relegation battle. The likes of West Ham and Wolves will 100% strengthen. We have to do the same because right now, we are beyond toothless

people who think signing a striker alone will drastically change things will be in for a shock
I think we need more an all-around forward than a striker. Someone who can play with Grealish and N’Diaye.

At the moment they don’t even try to interact with Beto unless they are trying to play a final ball.

We need full backs, because we don't actually create many good chances because Grealish or NDyaie have too much to do.
We need a centre back comfortable on the ball with a bit of pace, we have that centre back though we need him back

Need to adapt more drop kdh into the midfield and play alcaraz in the 10. Garner at rb aswell give us mofe of a threat. Also again beto missing an early chance costing us

If Beto was somewhat competent it would make things so much easier. He can finish, but his all-around play is just too woeful for this level. Barry looks useless as well.

I think Sunderland will be a better yardstick though. We really need to be beating them to get our season back on track.
You seen where Sunderland are in the table?

A lack of obvious whipping boys is going to give sleepless nights to any team in the bottom half after christmas.
We've been very lucky these past 4 years
Really? West Ham and Wolves look like they’ll be relegated at Christmas. Fulham and Burnley also likely to be fighting it out. Forest are in danger, but I’d imagine Dyche will get them out of bother.
