Rafael- We got off to a brilliant start, was in the top six then it all fell apart after that Watford game.

Sam- Was horrid football but he moved us up the table.

That last year under dyche was easily the worst I’ve ever seen from Everton, especially the last six months where we lost our first five games, scored one goal from open play in eleven games and found ourselves in deep relegation trouble against the worst three promoted teams the league has ever seen.

Not to mention the Bournemouth game.

That part of the cycle will come eventually for forest and I can’t wait to watch it unfold.

He runs his players into the ground, relies on nothing but hard work and graft and when the energy levels drop he doubles down and drags everyone down to his level.
We've had some rubbish managers haven't we. Not helped by the hodge podge buying of subpar players and clueless upper management but hey ho.

FSW, Fat Sam and Scotch egghead have however the crime of being particularly unlikeable characters. Would add Fat Ron onto that list.

Even the better managers struggled with the constraints on them but at least the likes of Ancelotti, Silva and Martinez were likeable and it's not a surprise that they didn't play anti-football.

Anyway he's Forest's problem now. If he does there what he did here, he might get a pass from their fans this season by "steadying the ship". A ship that last season got into Europe so it should be more than possible. Next season though when the dull negative character of the man and his football becomes ever more apparent, it'll be interesting to see what damage he has done long term to Forest and their aspirations.

I'd say that's a fair assessment of recent incumbants. 👏

I see Garner has had a pop at Dyche in the latest Four Four Two mag, saying that he was frustrated as Dyche restricted his game and removed the creative element (I had mentioned on numerous occasions the difference in his role from Forest to us) now Moyes has let him have more freedom and is encouraging him to get forward and try and contribute more.

With all the uncertainty of waiting for the deductions to come and being handed deductions and waiting for appeals to see if they'll be successful or not.

Just say thanks to the man and move on. The level of ingratitude and stupidity over this is off the charts.

Anyway, he now gets another crack at another PL club, because that's what he does: save basket case clubs.
Absolutely, the level of stupidity in this thread demonstrated by a couple of posters is definitely off the charts.

Anyway, eight points it was, glad you can see your error. And don't feel bad, we all make mistakes posting things while we're angry, apology accepted ;)

I`ll give you a big clue, they`re also the two biggest supporters of Dyche !
It's an amazing display of cognitive dissonance.

1) Martinez is a much better Everton manager than Moyes, he once got us 72 points!

2) Dyche is a much better Everton manager than Moyes, he didn't get us a win in 13 games!

3) Moyes is a terrible Everton manager, he only qualified for Europe four times, got us a top four finish for the first time since 1988 and got us to our first FA Cup final since 1995, absolute fraud of a manager!

4. Nepotism - creates " non " jobs for his mates and family members. ( Dyche takes Stoney and Woany everywhere he goes with him, whether the club needs them or not )

Suffocated him for 2yrs, he would have been called up by now..

Interesting game today. Forest’s squad is much more expensive than Bournemouth’s, but the home side have been in great form despite selling quite a few key players in the summer. They’ve recruited excellently again. Tough one to call.
