Match Thread Everton 0-3 Spurs . Sun Oct 26th. 4.30

I looked at the table last night and we are struggling once again if we lose today.
It's a much of a muchness at the moment, a couple of wins you're looking at the 'champions' league places and a couple of defeats you're looking at the relegation line. But I'd be amazed if Moyes is that incompetent with our team to put us below the likes of Wolves, West Ham, Burnley and even a Forest side managed by Dyche who Moyes is clearly superior too

Some 'good start to the season', this. 😑

Seemed like only yesterday when Grealish was averaging two assists a game and we were carving teams apart with ease.

Come on Everton, pull it all back together ffs.

It’s hardly been bad, has it? Outside of Leeds.

Beat Brighton and Wolves, draw with CL Villa, lose at Anfield which most teams do, draw with West Ham which sucks but ah well, beat high flying Palace, lose to Haaland at the Etihad.

Tbf that's at least 5 points completely thrown away that I can see. Villa had come into our game 1 point from 3, zero goals scored, Leeds is Leeds, and West Ham how on earth we couldn't beat them is a mystery - worst side in the division. Also we're out of the cup, so any more places dropped and it's suddenly looking like an awful start to the season.

Hopefully we can get a few wins and at least hover mid-table while the club thinks about bringing in a striker in January.

I wouldn’t say any points were thrown away, maybe West Ham. We didn’t score against Villa and Leeds to be able to throw anything away. Night game at Elland Road we deserved nothing, Villa we absolutely murdered but just couldn’t finish the chances.

Take a step back, look objectively, it’s not been a bad start so far. The negativity is pointless.

Pretty much sums it up Nymzee. Villa despite being in poor form at the time are still a better team than us and like you say we did everything to win bar scoring. Leeds should of been a draw. West Ham was Nunos first match so maybe the players had that little extra for that game but without doubt it was 2 points dropped. It's the League Cup exit that really annoys me the most as we would have a midweek game to look forward to looking to get to the quarter finals and the business end
