Today’s Football 25/26 Season

1 point from these two, so frustrating as both are crap yet Leeds now on the same points as us. West Ham and Wolves look sunk already but the third relegation spot could be a 40 pointer this season.
We needed shooting after that pathetic Leeds performance. We might have been unlucky with the handball call but we should have been in a position were we could deal with a dodgy decision if we'd have been set up right and put some energy into that game.

Anyway... West Ham are dreadful.

I stand by my long held opinion that Lampard is a good coach

Extremely bad recruitment, bad players and circumstances are why it went wrong here.
I thought he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time for us. I have no animosity towards him he kept us up against the odds without the bull and bluster of Dyche the current second coming for forest.

Top of the league, unbeaten in 13 and 3-0 up at half time.

We need to talk about Frank Lampard.
Yeah they are flying atm, got a bit off a soft spot for Cov, they have always tried hard and tend to think outside the box when it comes to recruitment over recent years, its good to see its all coming together finally.

Lampard was a disaster for us. His "rescue" act was necessary only because he took us into a nerve-shredding survival fight through crass ineptitude. He was badly found out. However, I never disliked the man at all - and I am receptive to the greater truth that it's not so much managers who failed Everton over the years as our custodians.

Bill Kenwright was an absolute curse: a self-centred, manipulative egomaniac whose need for validation reduced this club to a feeder for our former peers. The man he sold out to was a well-meaning football cretin. Until Everton Football Club is run by wealthy professionals with genuine ambition, how our managers fare will always be something of an irrelevance in the greater scheme of things.

So, good luck to Frank Lampard's Coventry. I suspect they'll put up with his cult of personality if it takes them back to the Premier League where they probably belong.

This Girona v Oviedo goal is amazing
Girona 0-2 down and thought they had won it 3-2 with a pen in the 92nd min. Oviedo have just got at 96th min equaliser.
