The Moyes question

What's your position on Moyes?

The only logical answer is "he'll do for now". Anyone who thinks he is the manager to take us beyond mid-table or the occasional Europa Conference League spot in the long term is insane. He won't win us a pot but he won't have us near the relegation zone. That's OK for this season but if he's still our manager in two years time it will show that our new owners have the same ambitions as the last owner who gave Moyes a lengthy tenure.
This really for me.

The club is still recovering from the back end of Moshiri. We also have an extremely average team so for me he has done a good job.

He will do very well to get us any higher than mid table with our current striker and full back options. Now is not the time to be messing about with managers.

The back end of Moshiri -oooh er missus!

Seriously what is the Moyes question?

I think I must of missread what this thread was about, I obviously didnt pay attention to the options, and just read the post..

I thought it was more of a safer Moyes thread not controlled by certain extremely aggravated posters..

Tho I do think a thread like this ( without any certain agenda ) would be good for this section of the forum.

A single (hatred free) thread that covers all bases, but no negative responses to posters are allowed.

Why i say this, is cos I reckon there is loads of people on the forum that want to speak, but feel they cant without some kind of barage of disrespectful responses.

It wouldn't be changing the forum, just a single thread that might help posters have a safe place to start and then gradually feel comfortable posting anywhere..

It might sound cheesy, it might not even do anything, but we wouldn't lose anything if it didn't..

Anyway, that was my nightly waffle over and done with.

Feel free to curse me tomorrow for any wasted reading time..

What's he done wrong?? As far as I can see we've been consistently decent to very good since he's been here. Very rarely have we looked low energy/low effort under Moyes. Sacking a decent manager when you're 12th could put us in the bottom three.
That’s the gist of Everton’s ambitions…sit at 12-15 spots avoiding the relegation and dreaming about glorious past…
