Love the man personally.
This really for me.The only logical answer is "he'll do for now". Anyone who thinks he is the manager to take us beyond mid-table or the occasional Europa Conference League spot in the long term is insane. He won't win us a pot but he won't have us near the relegation zone. That's OK for this season but if he's still our manager in two years time it will show that our new owners have the same ambitions as the last owner who gave Moyes a lengthy tenure.
Clubs tend to do worse post-Moyes than with him at the helm. What's he done wrong?? As far as I can see we've been consistently decent to very good since he's been here. Very rarely have we looked low energy/low effort under Moyes. Sacking a decent manager when you're 12th could put us in the bottom three.
The back end of Moshiri -oooh er missus! The club is still recovering from the back end of Moshiri. We also have an extremely average team so for me he has done a good job.
He will do very well to get us any higher than mid table with our current striker and full back options. Now is not the time to be messing about with managers.
Thank Christ. No need for you to keep saying it then. Across every thread, multiple times per day.Goes without saying.
There's nothing wrong with having a successor but I hope our new owners fashion the transition in a way that respects Moyes. Have the new manager come on the pitch at Moyes' last home game when his contract ends, that sort of thing.Clubs tend to do worse post-Moyes than with him at the helm.
Then they have a deathmatch for the right to lead the team! There's nothing wrong with having a successor but I hope our new owners fashion the transition in a way that respects Moyes. Have the new manager come on the pitch at Moyes' last home game when his contract ends, that sort of thing.
If David Moyes leaves Lime Street at 9:14am travelling 45 miles an hour and another David Moyes leaves London Euston at 11:56am travelling 125mph, what time will they collide? The back end of Moshiri -oooh er missus!
Seriously what is the Moyes question?
That’s the gist of Everton’s ambitions…sit at 12-15 spots avoiding the relegation and dreaming about glorious past…What's he done wrong?? As far as I can see we've been consistently decent to very good since he's been here. Very rarely have we looked low energy/low effort under Moyes.
