January Transfer Window 2026

Toney’s a good striker and would be a massive improvement on what we have but there’s just no point in signing someone like him unless we have serious aims to properly progress in the short term. Splashing out the sort of money we would be on him but opting out of the league cup and finishing 10th is completely pointless, it’s only worth doing that type of thing with a view to making hay while the sun shines and then using it as a springboard.

For me, we should go for Dusan Vlahovic. He's undervalued as a substitute; he's young and has a lot of potential. Great striker and very effective.
400k a week and some of the worst decision-making you'll ever see, and hoping for much more development from a near-26 year old is a huge gamble. Not for me.

Richarlson enters his final year at Spurs this summer. I reckon they may try to offload him in Jan. They still owe us money for him. I'd love to see him play up front alongside Grealish and Ndiaye. He would also give us an option wide especially during Afcon.

Funnily enough, there was spurious links this morning to us signing him on loan, but I reckon these jarg sites, get a lot of their stuff from the likes of on here tbh.

He was awful as an out CF last time, he would end up in people’s way, he is also suited to relegation fighting teams, which he was at Watford and Everton.
