Credit where and when it is due



There is often a negativty among us Evertonians. Our club moto is NIL SAITIS NISI OPTIMUM, and I agree that should be our basis. But for some it is not about that, they are just moaners, no club would be "satis" for them. People. Anyway, one thing now. I bought tickets, ballot failed, but on resale, all a bit unclear, payment taken, then pending, a bit vague. My son was worried. So I emaIled EFC. That was not simple, either. But within hours, not days, I got an answer. So, credit to EFC.
PS. BE POSITIVE. I took some stick about being so when I first joined this site, but I have been vindicated, several times. Negativity does not work here, nor in life.

They see people as customers. So that service should be seen as a minimum.

When did the bar drop so low that the club gets plaudits for making sure a fan's payment is clarified?
In the nineties. Prior to that, you would ring them up (whatever company/organization you were dealing with) and be able to speak to someone. Since then, it's been an exercise in futility trying to get answers to your specific situation. IVRs etc are pure evil.
 

I wanted this to be about the consecutive allocations of failed tenners turning up on the club view specials tickets, and that it'd be £50 notes worth for a soon to come game with everyone warned not to drink to heavily.

Oh well.
