Is it true we turned down someting like £25m bid from Man City for Arteta that summer when he signed his mega contract?

What business would you do mate?

Serious question as I value your opinion. It seems certain a big name will go.

I would sell Anichebe, I wouldnt care who to or for how much, I would honestly give him away to ANYBODY.

I would do whatever it took to keep Pienaar, then I would alert every single media outlet to the fact that NOBODY on the Board at Everton has invested a single penny into the Club, then leave to go and Manage WBA.

Sell the dreggs first before considering selling our assets
Mucha, Silva, Yobo. That should well get us the £10m we supposedly need. *tumbleweed*

I'd just add though, there's not a hope in hell anyone would offer £10m+ for Jagielka or Rodwell at this point.

It won't be Johnny, they might not get his cup back, and the budget wouldn't stretch to a new one for player of the year AND whatever one they dream up for Bill.

He's only got 18 months on his deal and he's a top earner. A good Euro's could see a big bid come in. I'm still not sure Moyles see's him as No.1

Both English Internationals, both quality players, we would get 10m easily for Rodwell, more if he didnt have the niggling injurys, which will pass with age, Jags is worth around 15m in Todays market, IMHO.

So Moyes has confirmed what any fan capable of logical thinking realised would be the case this summer anyway? Cheers!

That's the problem though mate. None of that will happen, bar the Pienaar thing.

Of the players we would LIKE to sell, Anichebe etc.., nobody will want them.

Seems certain that a Baines, Fellaini, Jagiela or Rodwell will go. So which would you prefer?

You might just have to accept its going to happen mate. I have.

Agree. We'd easily get £15m for Jagielka I think.

Moyes has got 2 choices : like it or walk.

And he ain't gonna walk so i hope he just shuts up, does whatever he has to do, sell whoever he needs to sell and brings in who he can.

Then we can start the season knowing the situation we are in instead of moaning about it and blaming it for any bad start we make.

That's what they're worth, or at least what we think they're worth but I can't see anyone offering that much in the current climate when they can get as good, if not better on the continent.

Plus clubs know our financial problems and would bid below valuation knowing our board will accept any half decent offer, not neccessarily holding out for full valuation.

Just my tuppence worth anyway.

Some of the younger ones will leave without us ever having seen them play, just to free up money for wages, some will be freebies or sent out on loan but someone like Vellios would get us a fee.

When will we see some of these that we signed and then loaned back ?

If Baines was to go, then would Pienaar fancy signing, they have that thing goin' on and without him Pienaar might think differently.
