January Transfer Window 2026

No defo not. Grealish is miles better. However we don’t have the squad at the moment to allow anyone to leave really.
Well we do because, McNeil is hardly getting any minutes as is Alcaraz and Dibbling we have plenty of cover in them positions to let McNeil go , especially if it helps us get a a right back or striker in January

If Grealish and Dewsbury hall get injured I are you playing where?

We’ve needed depth for years.

We don’t need to sell said depth.

“Elliot Anderson is someone who has maintained his form and has had the most touches, 807, in the Premier League this season - but the midfielder is an exception to the rule.”

that won’t last, unless he’s on goal kicks
Gonna be absolutely glorious watching EA and MGW stood in the middle of the park every week as some Forest centerback lumps the ball 60 yards up the pitch to Wood over and over.

We need to sell players who aren’t contributing and not likely to, Alcaraz and dibbling are at different times in their Everton careers. McNeil played for the 21’s last week, you can’t have your 6th choice sitting in the bench every week earning probably 70k a week.

He told the club he wanted to go out on loan and the club said no, but they would have sold him

A DOF doesn’t fix the issue we experienced this summer, which was the players of the quality we wanted did not want to join a perennial relegation battle. It is why (as Moyes has said) we couldn’t take the step from where we were to where we want to be in one window. We need to show upward momentum and progress this season so that in January or the summer more players are interested in the prospect of joining. In the Summer Forest probably looked a more attractive option than Everton for players and their agents, maybe not so much now.
It is all down to money...it is not that before we were more attractive, but more so that we were paying top wages (the best outside the top 6). Now we want talent on the cheap...doesn't work that way i am afraid. I am sure there are plenty of young talents overseas that would love to play in the pl. City wasnt an attractive proposition shortly after the takeover from Abu Dhabi a decade or so ago...and before we are going with the psr argument, there are ways, as chelsea has proved, around it with a bit of accountancy creativity.
